ABOUT THE ARTIST

Roel Arteaga (pronounced like Joel; they/them) is a Storyboard Artist and Character Designer from Jacksonville, FL, currently living in Savannah, GA. They have a BFA in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and graduated in March 2023.
Proudly Non-binary and Latine, they develop visual stories often influenced by their Queer, Colombian, and Bolivian cultures, and also aim to uplift fellow fellow Queer, Latine, and Neurodivergent voices in Animation.

In their free time, they love to cook humongous dishes for friends and partner, working out and practicing yoga, picking Japanese and French back up to level up their multilingual game, and taking care of their drama king cat Radicles.
